‘Find your tribe’ at the Connect and Participate Expo

May 13, 2019

The CAP Expo is back for its sixth year, bringing a wide range of Canberra’s sporting clubs, social groups and community organisations together in one location for Canberrans to discover and engage with.

The CAP Expo is a free, inclusive event and an opportunity for people of all ages and abilities in our community to connect with others who share similar interests, or to step outside their comfort zone and try something new.

A huge range of groups and clubs will be at the CAP Expo - representing sport and recreation, art, craft, music, leisure, cultural, performing arts, hobby, social and ‘special interest’ groups.

Local Canberra presenter, Greg Robson, and local musician, Simone Penkethman, will be MCs on the day to introduce live performances.

Music and dance performances throughout the day will include the Canberra College of Piping and Drumming, singing from Canberra Harmony Chorus, dance routines from Silver Soles Cloggers and demonstrations by Warehouse Circus.

A diverse range of food vendors will be at the Expo, including European style donuts from Krofne, Laotian food from Songs Laos Cuisine, and tasty chicken from Tikka Stand.

The Expo will be held on Saturday 4 May 2019, from 11am to 4pm at the Former Transport Depot, 21 Wentworth Avenue, Kingston.
